Ludhiana to get four big townships

Ludhiana to get four big townships

Four major townships are coming up in the city under the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA). The upcoming townships will be well connected with the city, especially Ferozepur Road. The townships are being developed by four different private companies and include options for people from the service class, medium middle class to upper middle class and leisure accommodation for the elite class.

Two of the townships are on the main roads. Connectivity is especially good for people coming from Mullanpur on Ferozepur Road. Projects have been designed according to the reach of each class in Ludhiana.

It is accessible from the medium middle class to high class. Plots and flats are open for sale from now. The idea to develop it near Ludhiana, especially on Ferozepur Road is that people get all facilities near their houses."

In one township, 2 bhk flats are available for Rs 30 lakh and 3 bhk flats are available for Rs 39 lakh. The flats are also open for sale at the cost of Rs 18,000 per square yard to Rs 19,000 per square yard. One of the private firms is also offering plots for Rs 20,000 per sq yards.

Development work in all the four townships has started. They have been registered under different schemes and are being monitored by GLADA. All these private townships have been approved from Chandigarh. The idea is to develop the city on the lines of international infrastructure that facilitate leisure.
